About Jo Chapple CThA, ATI
Jo was first introduced to Reflexology in the early 1990’s whilst travelling in the Far East she became fascinated by its healing benefits. As a result of this interest, she qualified as a practitioner in 1995.
Subsequently Jo began to treat business colleagues, friends and family from her Highgate clinic in North London. Jo then went on to establish the Reevehurst Clinic in Northwood , Middlesex, during 2000 – developing it into a centre for complementary therapies and wellbeing for the community.
In 2008, Jo qualified as an Amatsu Therapist – an age old Japanese physical therapy originating from the martial arts, which was first introduced to the UK in 1995. Amatsu Therapy is a dynamic, holistic physical therapy that works on all levels of the body; tissues, muscular, skeletal and blood. It is extremely beneficial for pain relief and balancing the mind and body to rectify disorder and regain equilibrium.
Jo has completed certified training in Reflexology for Babies and Children, Reflexology for Cancer and Women’s Gynaecological problems and Fertility. She is also a qualified practitioner of Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage and Reiki Healing (Level II) and, most recently, added NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to her list of healing methods.
Jo has moved from a full-time, intensely demanding corporate business career to the study and practise of complementary therapies. She fully integrates these experiences in her understanding of the client’s requirement for their body to be regularly maintained, de-stressed and detoxified through her varied healing modalities. In addition she has specific interest in children’s’ welfare and how complementary therapies assist with aiding and supporting behavioural and learning difficulties and all childhood imbalances.
Jo works closely with Northwood based Acupuncturist, Debra Wagemaker, particularly on tailored Fertility programmes to help couples achieve their dream of parenthood.
Jo is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association and Amatsu Therapy Ireland.
